Bespoke Gastronomy and Wine Tours in Italy

After traveling extensively around the world during my high tech career, my heart was captured by beautiful Italy. I made it my home 17 years ago and fell in love with all things Italian, especially the people, the gastronomy and culture. Much of my free time was spent touring this breathtaking country with a fondness of visiting wine regions. Additionally, multiple curious friends and family members visited me in Lake Como and accompanied me on those trips. I had much joy coordinating trips to all the places I adored while discovering hidden gems. I ended up planning numerous group trips in Italy, and was frequently asked to assist others on their Italian adventures. This sparked the idea to turn this into a business, along with encouragement from many others.
In 2017 and 18, I paired my gastronomy knowledge with an interest in wine education. I became certified in the global program Wine Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Levels Two and Three (with Merit) and successfully passed the Northern Italian Wine Scholar Guild course, earning highest honors. I supplemented my knowledge of global wines by visiting various vineyards throughout the world for tastings and lessons from producers. Not only do I love sharing my experience and knowledge in wine, but also helping others discover and find wine and food pairings suitable to their taste, not just mine.

I spent my career as a successful business litigation attorney in a law firm I co-founded in Boston. After assisting with the launch of The GastroNomad, I returned to the corporate world and am now General Counsel for a high tech firm based in the UK. Margie is handling all aspects of the business, but I am her sounding board and moral support.
I grew up in a small town just outside the city where I volunteered my time as a town official for almost two decades. I was the town moderator in Holliston Massachusetts and President of the Lions club.
I have spent considerable time visiting Italy and developed a fondness for its food, wine and culture. I quickly grew to appreciate the charm of the Italy. Being a history buff, I endeavored to absorb much knowledge during my travels in Italy, and I look forward to much more.
